Job Description

Intake Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY: The Intake Coordinator manages the day-to-day functions of Behavioral Health admissions, including referrals, preliminary assessments, admissions, and transfers, while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting clinical decision-making and quality improvement initiatives. The role provides training and guidance to staff, completes competency skill assessments, provides assistance with complex client concerns and issues, participates in hiring and mentoring, and collaborates with department leadership to maintain and develop policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year of Receptionist experience
  • 1 year of Advanced Administrative experience with increasing variety and complexity
  • State of Alaska Driver's License
  • BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment
