Description:

Help seniors remain healthy and independent at home with your reliable and friendly help! As a Home Support Provider, you would help people stay healthy and independent at home by doing housekeeping and household chores, simple meal prep, laundry assistance, and run errands.

***This position has a $2,000 Retention Bonus for full-time schedules, paid during the first year of employment in quarterly installments***

  • Full-time (30 to 37.5 hours weekly) position available with flexible hours
  • Weekday, daytime hours - between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

  • This position will cover Cheshire County
Requirements:
  • This position requires travel across Cheshire County
  • Able to lift/carry household items & groceries, ascend and descend flights of stairs, and other tasks requiring similar levels of physical stamina
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a home health setting and/or caregiving experience
  • Valid driver’s license and access to an automobile during working hours that meet the State of New Hampshire registration regulations and state minimum liability insurance
  • Ability to effectively and independently use agency provided devices and software applications to track work time, mileage, and communicate with agency staff.

Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services (HCS) is a non-profit organization providing comprehensive services in southwestern New Hampshire. HCS’s clinical services include visiting nurses, physical and occupational therapies, social work and home health aides. Hospice at HCS offers end of life care and grief support for patients and family members where ever they call home, including in assisted living and nursing homes. HCS is unique in the wide range of community services that are offered to the community, including Healthy Starts maternal and child health services, Meals on Wheels and senior dining, City Express and Friendly Bus transportation, and Nurse Is In foot care clinics. HCS is Medicare certified and licensed by the State of New Hampshire, and proud to be a Monadnock United Way agency.
