District Sales Representative in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at SGC Foodservice

The District Sales Representative will reside within the assigned territory and operate from a home-based office. This position requires early mornings, in-person customer interaction, and time spent preparing for customer calls during evenings and weekends. Success in this role is built on strong relationships, preparation, responsiveness, and a customer-first approach.

• Develop new business with restaurants, school systems, healthcare facilities, resorts, and other foodservice operations
• Manage and grow existing company accounts within the assigned territory
• Support customers with food products, supplies, equipment solutions, menu ideas, product samples, and operational guidance
• Identify opportunities to improve customer profitability and increase product distribution
• Manage customer credit and collections
• Oversee the day-to-day business operations of the assigned sales territory
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience required; foodservice industry experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for customer visits
• Ability and willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
