Job Description

Rehab Specialist I - Full Time - North

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of a licensed professional, provides personal care and completely performs/assists with rehabilitative treatment to patients in the inpatient rehab setting.

Personal care duties include, but are not limited to: toileting, toileting hygiene, bathing, bowel and bladder care, patient repositioning, rounding, bed making, transfers and general safety oversight.

Therapy driven duties include: scheduling, time management, transfers, wound care set up and assist, mobility assistant and safety guard, general equipment and unit cleaning and organization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

  • High School or equivalent

Minimum Work Experience

  • No experience required; however, CNA certification complimentary to job duties

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • CPR Certification

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Input data into computer programs.

Designated Driver

  • No

OSHA Category

  • 2 - Medium Risk
