Plant Manager Trainee in Round Rock, Texas at Prudential Overall Supply

Prudential Overall Supply is seeking a motivated, growth-oriented Plant Manager Trainee to join our operations leadership team. • Manage daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity goals are met.
• Monitor production flow and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Control operating costs and assist in budget management.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate product tracking.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Supervise and support employees across production, warehouse, and maintenance functions.
• Conduct employee coaching, training, performance evaluations, and development planning.
• Participate in hiring, transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed.
• Apply Lean Management principles to improve operational performance and reduce waste.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Other duties as required.

• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a production, manufacturing, industrial, or operations environment.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and production deadlines.
• Production-line scheduling experience.
• Employee scheduling and workforce management experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Career-oriented mindset with a desire for professional growth and advancement.
• Lean Management experience utilizing computer-controlled systems.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
