Job Description

SeaChange Printing and Marketing Services LLC

Description:

Turn postal complexity into client savings, smarter strategy, and measurable growth.

Make Your Mark on the Mailstream

Are you the person who can translate USPS rules, rate changes, and postal programs into smart business moves? SeaChange is looking for a Postal Strategist who can connect the dots between postal expertise, client goals, and revenue growth. You’ll serve as our go-to postal advisor—helping clients lower postage costs, improve mail performance, and make confident decisions in an ever-changing postal landscape.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the conversation. Guide client consultations, account reviews, and internal discussions by making complex postal topics clear, practical, and relevant.
  • Find the savings. Identify opportunities through commingling, co-mailing, destination entry, drop shipping, mail-piece design, USPS promotions, and other optimization strategies.
  • Shape the strategy. Monitor USPS, Postal Regulatory Commission, and industry developments; forecast trends; and recommend actions that strengthen pricing, services, retention, and growth.
  • Power the sales process. Support proposals, RFPs, pricing conversations, and new-client onboarding with postal recommendations and postage estimates.
  • Build postal confidence. Train Sales, New Business Development, and Client Experience teams to discuss postal opportunities with clients.
  • Share what you know. Create useful, engaging client communications, market updates, FAQs, newsletters, blog posts, and training materials.
  • Own key relationships. Serve as SeaChange’s strategic contact for USPS and postal vendors, including Pitney Bowes and UBM, and support performance, issue, pricing, contract, and renewal discussions.
  • Connect strategy to execution. Set direction for tactical postal work, review performance and savings data, and partner closely with the Postal Affairs Specialist and cross-functional teams.
  • Step in when needed. Provide backup coverage for daily mail-entry work, including Window Book, Mail.dat, and the USPS Business Customer Gateway, during absences or high-volume periods.
  • Represent SeaChange. Participate in industry events and associations, then bring the best insights back to our teams and clients.

Benefits

We offer a competitive benefits package for full-time employees including medical (HSA & FSA plan options), dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, accidental and critical illness insurance, and pet insurance. Basic life, short-term and long-term disability insurance is 100% company paid for all full-time employees. Additionally, SeaChange offers 401K and matches dollar per dollar up to $1,000 dollars per calendar year, PTO, paid holidays, parental leave, and volunteer time. SeaChange is committed to a work environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity and expects that all relationships will be free of bias, prejudice, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. We are committed to complying with all federal, state, and local laws providing equal employment opportunities, and all other employment laws and regulations.
