Powers Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for Nursing Floats to work days or nights at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.

Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process.
• Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates.
• Practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, Powers Health policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy of CHS by providing the highest quality care.
• Provides for the well-being of the community, services the needs of all people and demonstrates the values: dignity, compassionate care, community, quality and stewardship.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 2 years of IMCU nursing required.
• Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
• BSN preferred.
• Obtains and maintains current certification (ACLS) as required in specialty areas (Critical Care).
• Obtains and maintains current CPR.
