Outside Sales Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Qualify potential leads and distribute prospects to the sales team
  • Support marketing planning and strategy execution, including documenting campaign results
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions with prospects and communicate updates to the sales team
  • Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve issues as they arise
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales teams
  • Assist engineers with design, prototyping, assembly, and fabrication of new and existing products
  • Visit farm sites to inspect customer equipment and develop repair or service plans
  • Occasionally perform equipment repairs at customer job sites
  • Support operations across a territory covering Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, and others
  • Position is remote, with 6–12 months of training required in Fargo

Outside Sales Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to communicate company information professionally and positively to prospective clients
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professional composure
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to change
  • Experience working with diverse customers and environments
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Comfortable using computers and digital tools for various tasks
  • Proactive, hardworking, and capable of handling uncertainty and taking initiative
  • Physically capable of lifting at least 40 lbs
  • Willingness and ability to travel 40–60% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional character
  • Farming or mechanical background or experience in the farming industry preferred
