Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm
Up to 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW:
Working as Part-time Sales Support, you will provide on-site customer service and solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Promoting and selling Fastenal's Industrial Products and Services
o Targeting opportunities to grow sales by working directly with our strategic partner at their facility
o Focusing on a cost savings processes and technology that will drive efficiencies for our company and our customer
o Developing, selling, and implementing problem solving solutions to issues

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
o Prior industry sales experience
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Willingness to perform presentations in front of large groups
o Willingness to work a flexible schedule
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Sales or related field
o Demonstrate knowledge of cutting tools
