The Administrative Intern position reports to the East Coast Regional Director and is responsible for various operational tasks, including marketing, market research, and business operations. By working closely with experienced staff, the intern will gain valuable insights into administrative processes and develop professional skills applicable across multiple industries.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Conduct research on business operations and perform marketing duties
- Support document preparation and data entry to maintain organized and accessible records
- Help draft and distribute internal communications, emails, and memos to relevant stakeholders
- Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience in an administrative or office setting preferred
- Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Competencies
- Must have effective communication skills both oral and written
- Must have ability to multi-task, stay organized, work independently, and collaborate with various teams
- Must have a strong desire to grow personally as well as professionally
- Must have a great attitude and eager to learn
- Must have a current valid driver’s license
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to work remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information
- Must be able to assess the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
