What You'll Do
As our Fractional Controller, you will serve as a trusted financial advisor and oversee critical accounting functions, including:
• Managing general ledger accuracy and month-end close activities
• Reviewing financial statements and preparing management reports
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Developing and strengthening accounting procedures and internal controls
• Coordinating with external accounting, audit, and tax professionals
• Analyzing financial results and providing recommendations to improve performance and efficiency
• Ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller-level responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership
Position Details
• Independent Contractor (1099) status
• Approximately 20–30 hours per week initially
• On-site work environment
• Hourly compensation commensurate with experience
