Collects specimens for analysis by the laboratory and processes the finished reports; knows policies and procedures and adheres to all; knows the importance of age specific needs as defined in the age specific competency checklist.
Required:
High School Diploma and completion of a Phlebotomy or MA course.
Desired:
Phlebotomy certification (required within a year after hire). BLS certification is required before
working alone with patients
