About the Role :We are looking for a hands-on and organized Optical Practice Lead to support the day-to-day operations of our optical clinic at [Location]. This is a single-site, execution-focused role built for someone who is comfortable on the floor, takes ownership of their team, and brings consistency and follow-through to everything they do.This role works closely with and reports directly to the Regional Manager.The Practice Lead is responsible for translating direction into daily execution and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly, the team is supported, and patients leave with a great experience.Responsibilities: Daily Clinic OperationsRun day-to-day clinic operationsatasingle location, ensuring consistent execution of established workflows and service standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and patient-ready clinicenvironmentatall timesManage opening and closing procedures including cash reconciliation and POS accuracyIdentifyoperationalissues and surface them to the Regional Manager with proposed solutionsSupport the implementation of operational changes and process improvements as directedTeam Coordination and SchedulingCoordinate and manage daily scheduling for a small team of up to five staff membersSupport onboarding and day-to-day training of new team members in clinic procedures and service standardsProvide regular coaching and feedback to support individual performance and team consistencyEscalate HR or performance concerns to the Regional Manager inatimelyanddocumented mannerContribute to a positive team environment through clear communication, follow-through, and leading by exampleSales Support and Performance TrackingSupport the team in delivering a consultative, needs-based experience that naturally drives sales outcomesMonitor and track daily sales activity and flag trends or concerns to the Regional ManagerReinforce selling behaviors and service standards through in-the-moment coaching on the floorAssistinimplementing sales initiatives and promotions as directed by the Regional ManagerInventory and Product ManagementConduct regular stock counts andmaintainaccurateinventory records for frames, contact lenses, and optical suppliesEnsureappropriate productlevels aremaintainedon site to meet patient needs without over-orderingFlag low stock, discrepancies, or reorder needs to the Regional Manager for approval and actionKeep frame displays and product areas organized, well-stocked, and visually tidyReceive and process incoming product orders accuratelyPatient ServiceDeliver a consistent, welcoming, and professional experience for every patient who walks through the doorHandle day-to-day patient questions and concerns directly, resolving issues at the clinic level where appropriateEscalate complex or unresolved patient concerns to the Regional ManagerSupport recall outreach and appointment follow-up as part of regular clinic operationsQualifications and Skills: 2 to 4 years of experience in an optical retail or clinical environmentPreviousexperiencein a lead, senior, or supervisory capacity is an assetFamiliarity with optical dispensing, frame product knowledge, and contact lens categoriesExperience with inventory tracking and day-to-day clinic or retail operationsComfortable with scheduling tools and clinic software (Jane App experience is an asset)Strongcommunicationskillsand a patient-first approach to serviceReliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a busy clinic settingRegistered Optician is an asset but norequiredWhy Join HealthOne?
