This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Peoplesoft Finance Functional Consultant based in India.

This is a senior, remote consulting opportunity focused on PeopleSoft Financials within a managed services and enterprise applications environment.
You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to assess existing processes, configurations, integrations, and operational practices.
The role combines deep functional expertise with advisory skills to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
You will facilitate discovery workshops, translate business needs into actionable recommendations, and help shape future-state solutions.
Your insights will contribute to modernization roadmaps and informed technology and process decisions.
The position requires strong communication skills, as you will engage with business users, technical teams, and executive stakeholders.

• Facilitate discovery workshops, working sessions, and business process discussions with business and IT stakeholders to understand current needs and priorities.
• Assess current-state PeopleSoft Financials processes, configurations, system utilization, and operational practices.
• Evaluate key financial processes, including controls, integrations, reporting, and manual workarounds, to identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze business processes to uncover functional gaps, operational risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Leverage expertise across PeopleSoft Financial modules to evaluate existing solutions and recommend practical improvements aligned with business objectives.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating findings into actionable recommendations and future-state options.
• Prepare detailed assessment findings, recommendations, and supporting documentation to facilitate client decision-making.
• Contribute to roadmap development, modernization initiatives, and discussions around future-state enterprise application strategies.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level summaries and presentations, clearly communicating findings, risks, recommendations, and potential outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with functional, technical, and client teams throughout assessment and advisory engagements.
• Provide consulting and solution guidance based on PeopleSoft best practices, financial processes, internal controls, and enterprise application experience.

• 10+ years of professional experience, with strong functional experience implementing, supporting, assessing, or optimizing PeopleSoft Financials environments.
• Hands-on expertise across multiple PeopleSoft Financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Cash Management, Billing, Projects, and Grants Management.
• Working knowledge and practical exposure to PeopleSoft HCM.
• Strong understanding of financial business processes, internal controls, operational practices, and relevant industry best practices.
• Experience conducting business process assessments, discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and client-facing consulting engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze complex business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Experience delivering assessments, advisory services, solution recommendations, modernization planning, or similar consulting engagements.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and evaluate multiple solution options.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with confidence engaging business users, technical teams, and senior or executive stakeholders.
• Strong consulting mindset and ability to build trusted relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a distributed, global team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required or preferred.
• Strong client-service orientation, low-ego collaboration style, and willingness to take ownership of challenging assignments.
