  • Conduct and apply disciplined market research across U.S., Canadian, and international markets to inform product, commercial, and marketing strategy.
  • Define and continuously refine the organization's value proposition, positioning, messaging, and differentiation based on customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Ensure a consistent global brand voice and compelling storytelling across products, services, audiences, and geographies while adapting messaging to local market conditions.
  • Lead brand reputation and public relations, including media relations, analyst communications, crisis communications, and spokesperson preparation.
  • Develop and execute event and field marketing programs, including conferences, trade shows, and regional activations, to strengthen relationships with healthcare providers and sleep medicine key opinion leaders.
  • Own global lead-generation strategy and integrated campaigns spanning digital, content, SEO, social media, paid media, email, and other relevant channels.
  • Modernize and oversee the marketing technology ecosystem, including CRM, marketing automation, AI-enabled tools, analytics, and digital engagement platforms.
  • Use data, behavioral science, and performance analytics to improve personalization, customer engagement, funnel conversion, and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Establish clear measurement frameworks for marketing ROI, optimize investment allocation, and manage the overall marketing budget against strategic and performance objectives.
  • Partner with executive and business-unit leadership on data-driven commercialization initiatives, including market segmentation, territory design, pricing, packaging, competitive intelligence, and customer strategy.
  • Develop marketing and thought-leadership content while strengthening sales enablement capabilities and ensuring commercial teams have the tools and messaging required to drive results.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and contractors to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery.
  • Design and scale a global marketing organization, developing strong leadership capabilities across business units and geographies.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team while establishing a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and measurable performance.
Requirements

  • Strong strategic and commercial marketing expertise extending beyond communications, with demonstrated ability to define value propositions, segment markets, shape product requirements, and support revenue growth.
  • Experience equipping sales organizations with effective positioning, messaging, content, and enablement programs that improve commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to use digital marketing to influence both consumer behavior and actions by employers, health plans, or other institutional customers.
  • Experience translating strategy into clinical or healthcare programs designed to address gaps in care or improve health outcomes.
  • Prior experience in the carve-out benefits market is preferred, including familiarity with plan sponsors, benefits consultants, plan members, and the strategies required to reach and influence these audiences.
  • Strong expertise in designing and scaling modern marketing systems, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, AI-enabled marketing technologies, and digital engagement platforms.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory, privacy, and compliance requirements and the ability to incorporate them into marketing strategy and execution.
  • Strong market research, segmentation, competitive intelligence, and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable commercial decisions.
  • Excellent executive communication, storytelling, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams across multiple functions, business units, or geographies.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, investor-driven environment while balancing ambitious growth objectives with disciplined, metrics-driven execution.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial judgment, an outcomes-oriented mindset, and the ability to move effectively between long-term strategy and hands-on execution.
