Job Description

Combining culinary creativity, food-science expertise, responsive collaboration, and scalable manufacturing, we create solutions that perform in the product, in production, and in the market The Financial Accountant is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role will perform account reconciliations, assist with month-end and year-end close processes, support external audit activities, and prepare financial reports to drive informed decision-making. The position works closely with the broader Finance team to maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral AccountingPrepare and record journal entries in accordance with GAAPMaintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial recordsSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesAccount ReconciliationsPerform balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basisInvestigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerMaintain proper documentation to support all reconciliationsAudit SupportCoordinate with external auditors during year-end auditPrepare audit schedules and provide requested supporting documentationAssist in implementing audit recommendations and improvementsFinancial ReportingPrepare recurring financial reports and analysis for managementAssist in variance analysis and explanation of key driversSupport preparation of internal and external financial statementsProcess & ControlEnsure compliance with internal controls and company policiesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencySupport documentation and standardization of accounting proceduresQualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field2–4 years of accounting experience (public accounting or manufacturing experience preferred)Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principlesExperience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skillsHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyScan to Apply
