About the Role
Cancelled Breaks is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to help us identify and schedule great talent as we continue to grow. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys reviewing candidates, speaking with applicants, and keeping the hiring process moving efficiently.
The Recruiting Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for many applicants and plays a key role in creating a positive candidate experience from application through interview scheduling.
This role is exclusively in office 5 days a week, full time.
Responsibilities- Review resumes and employment applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Evaluate applicant qualifications against job requirements.
- Conduct professional phone screening.
- Schedule Zoom and in-person interviews.
- Maintain accurate applicant records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure candidates receive timely communication throughout the hiring process.
- Respond to applicant questions regarding positions and the hiring process.
- Track recruiting metrics and hiring activity.
- Help maintain an efficient and organized recruitment process.
- Support recruiting projects and hiring initiatives as assigned.
- Minimum of 6 months of recruiting, recruiting coordination, or talent acquisition experience is required.
- Experience reviewing resumes and evaluating candidate qualifications.
- Experience conducting phone interviews or candidate screenings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple high priority positions simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Professional phone presence and customer service skills.
- Ability to take initiative and get tasks completed without supervision.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) highly preferred.
- Experience scheduling interviews in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Experience with Zoom or virtual interviewing platforms.
- Excellent judgment when reviewing applicants.
- Communicates professionally and confidently.
- Enjoys interacting with people.
- Works well in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment.
- Can prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Is proactive and follows through without constant direction.
