WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

At Paris Baguette, we believe joy is baked fresh every day, and our Retailers are the ones who deliver it to guests. This is a front-line role that shapes how every guest sees our café. You’ll serve our pastries, cakes, and expertly brewed drinks, run the register, keep displays fresh and well-stocked, and make sure every order is accurate. We rely on our Retailers to bring consistency, care, and a strong work ethic to every shift.

What You’ll Do

Stations you may rotate through (and grow your skills across all areas):

• Barista: Brew joy into every cup
• POS Champion: Deliver a friendly, smooth, and accurate checkout
• Greeter: Be the first smile guests see
• Merchandiser: Keep displays beautiful and bountiful
• Pick-Up Pro: Ensure orders are perfect and on time

Guest Experience:

• Greet every guest with a warm smile, eye contact, and positivity
• Stay informed on our menu, products, and seasonal promotions to give guests accurate and helpful support
• Answer questions and educate guests on menu items and seasonal offerings
• Operate our POS system (Toast) accurately and efficiently
• Assist with online delivery and pick-up orders, always ensuring accuracy

Café Operations:

• Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages consistently and with care, including batches of coffee and tea
• Ensure product quality by checking freshness and rotating pastries and desserts
• Keep displays inviting, well-stocked, and aligned with our merchandising standards
• Support the café team with finishing products and packaging items
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming café environment
• Help the team meet daily production and sales goals in a lively, fast-paced café
• Availability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as extended workdays to support business needs
• Adapt to other café tasks as needed (we’re all one team!)

What You Bring

· 1+ year of experience in customer service, food service, or retail (preferred, but not required)

· Commitment to working a consistent schedule and delivering reliable, exceptional service

· Ability to perform basic math and operate POS systems (currently Toast; preferred, but not required), with strong cash-handling accuracy

· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and follow food safety guidelines

· Engaging communication style and strong attention to detail

· Strong time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

· Integrity and accountability; you take ownership of your work

· Friendly, positive, team-first attitude and an authentic love for hospitality

· A hunger for learning and willingness to cross-train to provide better coverage and fill gaps

· Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
