Our portfolio includes food & beverage concepts, wellness spaces, creative venues, membership experiences, and operational support services.Position SummaryWSA NYC is seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing Director to oversee procurement, vendor partnerships, inventory controls, and purchasing operations across our growing hospitality and multi-unit portfolio. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this individual will play a key role in developing and implementing purchasing strategies that support operational efficiency, cost management, quality standards, and long-term growth initiatives across multiple business verticals. This role supports multiple hospitality-driven business verticals throughout New York City and requires a highly organized, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead purchasing, sourcing, and procurement strategies across WSA’s hospitality, wellness, events, and operational business verticalsOversee purchasing operations for food & beverage, operating supplies, equipment, packaging, wellness products, and facility-related materialsNegotiate vendor pricing, contracts, rebates, and service agreements to drive cost savings and operational efficiencyBuild and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships across regional and national marketsManage purchasing budgets, forecasting, spend analysis, and inventory controls across multiple locationsLead expense reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, operational efficiencies, and vendor negotiationsOversee inventory management, receiving operations, delivery scheduling, and supply chain logisticsPartner closely with Culinary, Operations, Finance, Facilities, and Events teams to support day-to-day operational needsDevelop purchasing policies, SOPs, and scalable procurement systems to support company growthLead and mentor purchasing and receiving personnel while fostering a collaborative and solutions-oriented team environmentEnsure compliance with procurement standards, operational procedures, and vendor requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications7+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience within hospitality, restaurant, hotel, luxury, or multi-unit operational environmentsStrong background in supplier negotiation, vendor management, contract administration, and procurement strategyExperience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, inventory management, and cost-control initiativesKnowledge of demand planning, supply chain operations, and multi-unit hospitality environmentsStrong analytical, organizational, negotiation, leadership, and communication skillsExcellent relationship management and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentStrong self-starter mentality with flexibility and a hands-on approachComfortable working on-site five days a weekAdvanced Microsoft Excel and procurement software experience preferredWhat We’re Looking ForStrong self-starter mentality and flexibilityComfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentCollaborative leadership style with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentalityStrong vendor relationship and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities across a growing organizationCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range $120,000 - $130,000Competitive compensation packageMedical, Dental & Vision Coverage401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off & Paid HolidaysGrowth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organizationLocationNew York, NY Multi-property support role across WSA NYC portfolio locations.Scan to Apply
