Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Director of Nutritional Services to join our Nutritional Services Department in Ash Grove, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

What Your Day Looks Like: Ash Grove Healthcare Facility is an 82-bed long-term care, skilled nursing facility. Services include a 20-bed memory care unit to meet the needs of individuals with dementia, including Alzheimer's disease.

As a Director you will be:

• Purchasing food and non-food supplies, ensuring vendor relationships are maintained and professional

• Instructing staff in the process of batch cooking and decreases production at the end of peak mealtimes to avoid overproduction, using leftovers in an acceptable manner

• Maintaining recipes in a simple manner and oversees production of food in order to guarantee preparation of foods according to established recipes

• Communicating selected menu with the leadership team for all banquets, special events, and catered foods guaranteeing the availability and proper cooking of foods

• Meeting all thresholds for regulatory agencies, enforcing regulatory standards for proper storage and handling food

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: At least one-year institutional food service management

Skills: Communication

Licensure/Certification: Certified Dietary Manager's License or equivalent, Family and Friends CPR within 6 months of employment

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 90% of the day and sit for the remaining 10%
