  • Location: On-site in Inwood, NY, directly across the Queens border from Far Rockaway and minutes from the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue A train terminal. In close proximity to JFK Airport.
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, onsite 5 days per week
  • Compensation: $95,000-$120,000 per year, based on directly relevant experience, education, and systems expertise.

Rockville is seeking a Senior Project Manager, R&D & Marketing Operations to help build and run the project management structure behind our R&D, product development, marketing, ecommerce, and cross-functional business priorities.

This is a hands-on project management role for someone who is highly experienced with ClickUp, highly adept at using AI tools and AI agents, strong in communication, and capable of helping a fast-moving business create more structure, visibility, accountability, and follow-through without slowing the team down.

The right person is not simply a task tracker. We need someone who can understand what matters to senior leadership, translate priorities into clear workflows and dashboards, run effective project meetings, follow up assertively across departments, and help teams keep projects moving with less confusion and more accountability.

Rockville is an online retailer specializing in high-quality audio equipment across multiple categories, including car audio, marine audio, pro audio, DJ equipment, recording equipment, lighting, speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, microphones, mixers, monitors, accessories, components, and related products. Our business moves quickly, with projects running across product development, R&D, marketing, ecommerce, content, data, customer experience, and operations. We need a project manager who can bring structure, visibility, and follow-through to that environment.

Our facility is located in Inwood, NY, directly across the Queens border from Far Rockaway and minutes from the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue A train terminal. Many members of our team commute from Queens and Brooklyn via the A train.

What Makes This Role Stand Out
  • Project management infrastructure: Help standardize uniformity of practical project management structure for a growing business, including intake, prioritization, meeting cadence, status reporting, accountability, and executive visibility.
  • ClickUp ownership: Build, configure, maintain, and improve ClickUp workflows, dashboards, automations, templates, task structures, statuses, custom fields, dependencies, and reporting views.
  • AI-forward project operations: Use AI tools, AI agents, and automation to improve follow-up, reporting, task organization, meeting notes, project visibility, workflow efficiency, and administrative leverage.
  • R&D and Marketing impact: Support project flow across product development, R&D, marketing, ecommerce, content, creative, data, and related cross-functional initiatives.
  • Executive visibility: Translate leadership priorities into simple dashboards and status views that show what is moving, what is blocked, what is late, and what needs attention.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Work across departments, personalities, and communication styles to keep people aligned, remove confusion, and drive follow-through.
What Youll Own
  • Own day-to-day administration and improvement of ClickUp for R&D, Marketing, and related cross-functional project work.
  • Configure and maintain workflows, statuses, task templates, custom fields, automations, dependencies, recurring tasks, dashboards, and reporting views.
  • Use AI tools and AI agents to streamline project updates, summarize meetings, organize follow-ups, identify blockers, improve reporting, and reduce manual administrative work.
  • Build executive-ready dashboards that show project health, overdue items, blocked work, priority deliverables, risks, missed deadlines, resource concerns, and items requiring leadership attention.
  • Manage project intake, task setup, ownership, milestones, dependencies, approvals, follow-ups, status updates, and documentation standards.
  • Support R&D projects by tracking product development milestones, testing activity, documentation, handoffs, approvals, blockers, priority changes, and completion status.
  • Support Marketing projects by tracking campaigns, content requests, creative reviews, ecommerce priorities, product launches, approvals, dependencies, and deadlines.
  • Run and support project meetings, including agendas, notes, action items, accountability checks, follow-up, and escalation of blockers.
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Ecommerce, Product, Customer Experience, Operations, Data, Photography, and leadership.
  • Keep project information clean, current, and usable, including scope, owners, due dates, priorities, supporting links, dependencies, risks, blockers, and status updates.
  • Follow up directly and professionally with team members to collect updates, clarify next steps, resolve confusion, and ensure progress is accurately reflected in ClickUp.
  • Identify bottlenecks, unclear ownership, missed handoffs, incomplete documentation, stalled projects, and process gaps that slow work down.
  • Create reusable workflow templates, automation templates, meeting formats, SOPs, reporting formats, and project structures that can scale across departments.
  • Help establish practical project management discipline without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Use project data to help leadership understand workload, capacity, project health, risks, blockers, and priority conflicts.
First 90 Days

In the first 90 days, this person will be expected to understand Rockville’s current R&D, Marketing, and ecommerce project flow, assess the existing ClickUp structure, identify gaps in workflow design and reporting, improve dashboard visibility, tighten project ownership, and begin establishing a practical cadence for project updates, meetings, and follow-up.

The right person should earn trust by making everyone’s work easier, not harder. This role requires someone who is detailed, assertive, self-directed, and comfortable bringing structure to a fast-moving environment while giving leadership clear, current, and accurate visibility into project status, blockers, priorities, and next steps.
