Life Enrichment Coordinator – Full-Time (40 hrs/week) | $18–$20/hr | Worcester, MA

The Briarwood Retirement Community is hiring a Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our Life Enrichment. This full-time role (40 hours/week, $18–$20/hour) is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong activity planning and resident engagement who is looking to grow in life enrichment. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility based on organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, implement, and set up engaging programs and activities that motivate resident participation
  • Work independently on a daily basis to execute engaging resident programs
  • Recommend the purchase of supplies and equipment needed to support programming
  • Complete required daily attendance documentation per federal, state, and facility requirements
  • Collaborate with staff, vendors, and community volunteers to implement activities and special events

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with activity planning and attendance documentation; strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience with working with elderly populations is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff.
  • Previous life enrichment, activities, or senior living experience preferred.
