Maintenance Supervisor – Bowling Green, KY in Bowling Green, Kentucky at Hill Transportation Inc

Hill Transportation Services, Inc. is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Bowling Green maintenance shop.

We’re looking for a hands-on leader who knows heavy-duty equipment, can lead a team, prioritize repairs, and understands how important it is to keep trucks and trailers safe, reliable, and on the road.

• Lead, coach, and oversee maintenance technicians
• Schedule and prioritize preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and breakdowns
• Monitor repairs to ensure quality work and minimize equipment downtime
• Coordinate with drivers, operations, vendors, and outside repair facilities
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA and company maintenance standards are followed
• Monitor recurring equipment issues and help prevent repeat failures
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and a clean, safe, organized shop
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing technicians

• 3+ years of heavy-duty truck and/or trailer maintenance experience preferred
• Supervisory or lead technician experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of diesel trucks, trailers, brakes, electrical, and fleet maintenance
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA maintenance requirements
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced fleet environment
• CDL and/or ASE certifications are a plus
