About the Role
CANTEEN, located inside the WSA Building, is looking for a polished, hospitality-driven Barista / Server to join the team immediately.
As the concept has continued to evolve, CANTEEN is operating as a full-service café and restaurant, and this role requires someone who is comfortable supporting both coffee/barista service and front-of-house guest service. We are looking for someone who is warm, efficient, professional, and excited to be part of a growing concept within a highly creative and fast-paced environment.
About the Opportunity
Located inside the WSA Building, CANTEEN is part of a 700,000 sq. ft. creative campus where fashion, arts, culture, and technology intersect. We’re building a café and restaurant experience that is welcoming, polished, efficient, and quality-driven, and we’re looking for team members who are excited to grow with the concept during this opening phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages with consistency and attention to detail
- Provide attentive, professional table service and front-of-house support for guests
- Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Maintain a warm, polished, and guest-focused service style throughout the shift
- Support daily opening and closing responsibilities
- Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the café and dining areas
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
- Assist with restocking, light side work, and general upkeep of service stations
- Uphold company standards for hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism
Qualifications
- Prior barista experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting
- Serving experience is required
- Experience working in a high-volume, guest-facing environment
- Manual espresso machine experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in drink preparation and service
- Warm, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong communication skills and a hospitality-first mindset
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to approximately 20 lbs.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Availability within daytime service hours
- Immediate start preferred
