Third Shift Extrusion (11pm-7:30am) in Milford Center, Ohio at Advanced Technology Products Inc

Job duties of a Line Tender in the Extrusion department:

• Responsible for spooling or winding the tubing coming from line(s)

• Keep a running count of spools being made on the computer, frequently double check the computer counts by doing a physical count.

• Ensure the spools are presentable and of good quality.

• Ensure the proper labels are being put on the spools.

• Promptly cut tubing when buzzer goes off to signify a roll is done.

• Ensure the spools and/or finished skids in the correct locations around the shop.

• Measure a sample from each roll that comes off the respected line and record it in the computer (O.D. I.D. Wall, and Print)

• Help the other Line Tenders as needed.

• Grind and re use the regrind if possible.

• Grind any regrind that needs done to be reclaimed in free time.

• Make sure the department is clean and spools are put way properly before leaving for the shift.

• Check with your supervisor to make sure nothing else needs done before leaving the shift.

• If new line tenders starting, work with them for a few days to ensure proper training on how to perform the line tender job.
