We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our team supporting a large manufacturing client in La Porte, Indiana (46350). This position is based at 1110 E. Lincolnway, La Porte, IN 46350.
Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse looking for outstanding work-life balance while practicing independently in an onsite occupational health clinic.
The Occupational Health Nurse provides injury assessment and treatment, health screenings, drug and alcohol testing, case management support, and wellness services for employees in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule
· Full-Time
· Monday-Friday
· 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – Midnight
· No weekends
· No holidays
Key Responsibilities
· Assess and provide first aid for occupational injuries and illnesses
· Perform injury triage and coordinate follow-up care
· Assist with return-to-work and case management activities
· Conduct occupational health screenings, including:
o Audiometry
o Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)
o Vision screening
o Vital signs
· Perform urine drug screens and breath alcohol testing
· Perform venipuncture/phlebotomy
· Administer immunizations and vaccinations
· Maintain accurate electronic medical documentation
· Educate employees regarding workplace injuries and health promotion
· Maintain clinic inventory, equipment, and supplies
· Support OSHA, HIPAA, and occupational health compliance initiatives

Qualifications
· Current Indiana LPN or RN license
· Current CPR/BLS certification
· 3-5 years of nursing experience
· Recent experience in one or more of the following:
o Emergency Department (ED)
o Corrections
o Urgent Care
o Acute Care
· Strong assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills
· Ability to work independently in an onsite clinic setting
Preferred
· Occupational Health nursing experience
· Drug and alcohol testing experience
· Phlebotomy experience
· Audiometry and pulmonary function testing experience (or willingness to be trained)
