Field Warehouse Associate

Reports To: Warehouse Lead Associate
The Field Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse and field operations by receiving, organizing, staging, loading, and delivering materials and equipment for installation teams. This position ensures installers have the correct products, tools, and supplies needed to complete customer projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-focused, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse and field environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, unload, and stock incoming materials and inventory.
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials for daily installation schedules.
- Load and unload company vehicles while ensuring products are secured and protected from damage.
- Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites or field personnel as needed.
- Verify inventory counts and assist with inventory cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Organize warehouse inventory using established storage and labeling procedures.
- Inspect materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Assist with the return, inspection, and restocking of unused materials from job sites.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks, in a safe manner (certification required where applicable).
- Assist with loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, installation teams, and leadership regarding material needs and inventory concerns.
- Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures.
- Perform additional warehouse and operational duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, construction, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic math and inventory counting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely load and unload building materials and equipment.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting and material handling tasks.
- Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Barcode scanners
- Pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Forklifts and reach trucks (certification required)
- Company trucks and trailers (if authorized)
- Packaging and material handling equipment
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Practice proper lifting techniques and safe material handling procedures.
- Report damaged equipment, unsafe working conditions, accidents, or near misses immediately.
- Participate in required safety meetings and ongoing training.
