Post Grad Yr1 Pharm Resident in North Kansas City, Missouri at North Kansas City Hospital

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department of Pharmacy management team, performs the functions of a pharmacist to ensure that the patient is provided quality pharmaceutical care. During this one-year experience the resident will rotate through a variety of experiences to gain a foundation in hospital pharmacy. The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency program builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training. The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency program is supported by the NKCH Department of Pharmacy Services.
