This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Conference Sponsorship Sales Representative in United States.

This role is focused on driving revenue growth by securing sponsorship partnerships for high-impact virtual and in-person conferences attended by senior executives and industry decision-makers.
You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing sponsorship opportunities that align client marketing goals with event value propositions.
The position requires a strong mix of outbound sales activity, relationship management, and consultative selling across multiple industries.
You will work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment where initiative, persistence, and communication skills directly influence success.
A key part of the role involves managing the full sales cycle while building long-term partnerships with sponsors and stakeholders.
You will also contribute to market research and help shape event offerings through client insights and feedback.
This is an opportunity for a motivated sales professional to grow within a results-oriented and highly dynamic events business.

Accountabilities:
  • Drive sponsorship revenue by prospecting and engaging potential clients through cold outreach, email campaigns, social selling, and direct communication.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and pitching to negotiation and closing sponsorship deals for conferences and events.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to support retention, upselling, and repeat sponsorship opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads, client interactions, and sales activity within CRM systems.
  • Conduct ongoing market and industry research to identify new prospects, improve outreach strategies, and support event positioning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance event offerings and ensure alignment between sponsorship packages and client needs.
  • Attend selected live conferences to support onsite engagement, strengthen relationships, and enhance client experience.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights, refine sales strategies, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of experience in sponsorship sales, B2B sales, events sales, or related commercial roles.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and negotiate confidently.
  • Proven ability to sell intangible services and clearly articulate value propositions to prospective clients.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a professional, persuasive communication style.
  • Experience in hospitality, events, or call center environments is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a high-performance sales environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support live events and client engagement activities.
  • College degree preferred, along with a strong interest in sales and business development.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work environment with occasional travel to conferences
  • Monthly base compensation of $1,000 USD plus unlimited commission potential
  • Paid time off available after 90 days (vacation, sick leave, and compensatory time)
  • Additional wellness, floating, religious observance, and voting days
  • Paid federal holidays with early release before holidays
  • Summer Fridays for improved work-life balance
  • All travel expenses covered for onsite events (flights, accommodation, and meals)
  • Opportunity to work in a fast-growing, performance-driven events organization
  • Exposure to international clients and executive-level decision-makers
