This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pillar Lead: Device & Endpoint Specialist based in United States.
This fully remote role leads the Devices pillar within an enterprise Zero Trust architecture and implementation program.
You will shape reusable approaches for device identity, endpoint posture, compliance, protection, and secure configuration.
The position combines hands-on endpoint security expertise with enterprise architecture and implementation planning.
You will help validate device dependencies, test controls, and ensure endpoint signals contribute effectively to access decisions.
The role requires close collaboration across identity, network, application, data, and automation teams.
Your work will influence how device-centric security capabilities are designed, deployed, and sustained across enterprise environments.
This is an opportunity to contribute technical leadership to a complex Federal cybersecurity transformation initiative.
- Lead the development of device and endpoint Zero Trust architecture, implementation patterns, and technical approaches.
- Define requirements for device identity, posture, health, compliance, endpoint protection, secure configuration, and device-based access signals.
- Evaluate endpoint and device management technologies for interoperability, security effectiveness, and alignment with enterprise Zero Trust objectives.
- Support implementation planning, pilot execution, technical test cases, regression testing, and operational readiness activities.
- Validate endpoint dependencies and device-focused controls throughout implementation waves.
- Coordinate device-related requirements and dependencies with identity, network, application, data, analytics, and automation teams.
- Support the integration of endpoint signals into identity, conditional access, and broader security decision-making processes.
- Document implementation outcomes, exceptions, architectural deviations, technical findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Contribute technical expertise and guidance to ensure device security capabilities are consistently applied across enterprise environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in endpoint security, device management, desktop engineering, enterprise security engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with endpoint protection, EDR, MDM/UEM, configuration management, and endpoint compliance assessment.
- Strong understanding of device-centric Zero Trust principles, device posture, identity, and conditional access concepts.
- Ability to assess enterprise endpoint technologies and understand their integration with broader security architectures.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams and communicate complex endpoint security concepts clearly.
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Tanium, or comparable enterprise endpoint platforms.
- Preferred: Experience supporting Federal endpoint security requirements and enterprise cybersecurity programs.
- Preferred: Experience integrating endpoint signals into identity and access management decisions.
- Preferred certifications include Security+, Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, CISSP, or CySA+.
