The Opportunity
The Shipping Label Coordinator is an on-site, detail-critical role within Nuage Designs' warehouse operations, responsible for generating and managing all outbound shipping labels across domestic and international carriers — including UPS, FedEx, and DHL. This position is the operational hub of our daily outbound shipping activity, ensuring every order is accurately labeled, properly tracked, and dispatched on time.
Working directly alongside the Linens Packing Team Lead and warehouse floaters, this role is responsible for entering precise tracking information into the IE platform so that sales teams have real-time visibility into every order. From generating the first label of the day to resolving last-minute address discrepancies and fielding carrier calls, this person keeps shipments moving with accuracy and urgency.
This is a 100% on-site position. The pace is fast, the margin for error is low, and the impact is direct — every label this role creates represents a commitment to a client expecting a flawless event.

Duties & Responsibilities
Label Creation & Carrier Management
Generate daily outbound shipping labels for all domestic and/or international orders using the UPS platform, ensuring accuracy of recipient address, package weight, dimensions, and service level for every linens shipment.
Process domestics and/or international shipments via FedEx or DHL platforms as needed, subject to manager approval, ensuring compliance with international shipping requirements and documentation standards.
Select the appropriate carrier and service level for each order based on delivery urgency, destination, and client requirements, coordinating with the Warehouse Manager for non-standard or international requests.
Cancel, void, or update labels when order information changes, verifying that all data on the printed label precisely matches the information recorded in the system before any label leaves this workstation.
Monitor daily label output to ensure all scheduled outbound orders have been processed and printed before cutoff times.
IE Platform & Tracking Visibility
Enter complete and accurate tracking information for every shipment into the IE platform in real time, ensuring sales representatives have full visibility into the status and expected delivery of each client order.
Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records, linking tracking numbers to the correct order, client, and job number within the system.
Flag and resolve any discrepancies between system records and printed label information before shipments are released, escalating unresolvable issues to the Warehouse Manager immediately.
Generate and review daily shipping reports to confirm all orders have tracking numbers assigned and no shipments have been missed or left unprocessed.
Identify and resolve address discrepancies before labels are printed, cross-referencing recipient information against the order in the IE platform and escalating unverifiable addresses to the sales team or Warehouse Manager for correction.
Handle inbound shipping-related calls and inquiries — including tracking status updates, delivery exceptions, address corrections, and carrier escalations — providing accurate, timely information to internal teams and clients.
Coordinate directly with UPS, FedEx, and DHL customer service as needed to resolve delivery exceptions, reroute packages, or initiate claims for lost or damaged shipments.
Maintain a log of address issues, carrier exceptions, and resolution outcomes to identify patterns and reduce recurring errors.
Floor Operations
Hand off all printed labels to the designated warehouse floater immediately after printing, communicating clearly which labels correspond to which packed boxes to ensure every shipment is correctly and securely labeled before dispatch.
Coordinate with the floater and packing team to confirm that all boxes are labeled and staged correctly prior to carrier pickup.
Communicate proactively with the Linens Packing Team Lead regarding the status of partial orders — confirming which orders have labels generated and which are still pending packing completion — to ensure partial shipments are processed and dispatched without delay.
Maintain awareness of daily packing progress to anticipate label volume and prepare shipping queues accordingly.
General Shipping Operations
Manage daily shipping activity from label creation through carrier handoff, maintaining an organized and efficient shipping workstation throughout the day.
Ensure all outbound shipments meet carrier deadlines and client delivery expectations, prioritizing rush orders and flagging any at-risk deliveries to the Warehouse Manager.
Assist with other shipping and logistics duties as assigned.
