# Regional Lead – Central Ohio

* Central Ohio – Up to 5 Locations in and around I-270
**Status:*
* Full-Time
## Position Summary
Ohio Foot and Ankle Specialists is seeking a Regional Lead to provide operational support and leadership to up to five medical office locations throughout Central Ohio.
The Regional Lead will work closely with office leads, physicians, and team members to ensure each location is operating efficiently and consistently. This position will serve as a resource for the offices, help resolve day-to-day operational concerns, support employee development, and ensure company policies and expectations are being followed.
The Regional Lead will also serve as an important connection between the Central Ohio offices and the Operations, Human Resources, and Leadership teams.
## Essential Duties and Responsibilities
### Regional Office Support
* Provide day-to-day operational support to up to five assigned Central Ohio locations.
* Maintain a regular presence at each assigned office.
* Work closely with Office Leads to ensure daily operations are running efficiently.
* Assist offices with workflow, staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and other operational needs.
* Identify concerns within the offices and work with the appropriate department or leadership team to resolve them.
* Help maintain consistency in processes and expectations across all assigned locations.
* Assist with implementation of new company processes, policies, and initiatives.
### Leadership and Team Development
* Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Office Leads and team members.
* Serve as a resource when Office Leads need assistance handling day-to-day employee or operational concerns.
* Help develop Office Leads so they can effectively manage the daily needs of their individual locations.
* Conduct regular check-ins with Office Leads.
* Help identify training and development opportunities for employees.
* Recognize performance concerns and partner with Operations and Human Resources when additional coaching or corrective action may be necessary.
* Encourage accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and positive communication within the offices.
### Staffing and Scheduling
* Monitor staffing needs across assigned locations.
* Work with Office Leads to ensure schedules appropriately support provider and patient needs.
* Assist with coverage when an office experiences call-offs, vacancies, or other staffing challenges.
* Monitor employee hours and overtime and work with Office Leads to control unnecessary overtime.
* Partner with Human Resources regarding vacancies, recruiting needs, onboarding, and employee concerns.
* Help ensure new employees receive appropriate training and support.
### Office Performance
* Review operational performance with Office Leads and leadership.
* Help identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, patient flow, and office performance.
* Monitor staffing and overtime in relation to patient volume and operational needs.
* Help Office Leads understand how staffing decisions, overtime, scheduling, and office expenses impact the overall performance of the practice.
* Assist in developing and following through on action plans when an office is experiencing operational challenges.
### Physician and Patient Support
* Build positive working relationships with physicians throughout the assigned region.
* Address operational concerns that may impact physicians, employees, or patients.
* Assist with escalated patient concerns when appropriate.
* Help ensure offices maintain a professional, welcoming, and patient-focused environment.
* Support efficient patient flow and provider schedules.
### Compliance and Accountability
* Help ensure assigned locations follow company policies and procedures.
* Monitor completion of required employee training.
* Reinforce attendance, scheduling, timekeeping, and workplace expectations.
* Identify concerns and communicate them to Operations, Human Resources, or leadership as appropriate.
* Maintain confidentiality of employee, patient, and company information.
### Communication
* Serve as a liaison between assigned Central Ohio locations and company leadership.
* Communicate company updates and expectations to Office Leads and team members.
* Provide regular updates regarding staffing, operational concerns, employee issues, and office needs.
* Participate in leadership and operational meetings as requested.
* Work collaboratively with Human Resources, Billing, Training, Operations, and other departments.
## Qualifications
* 2–5 years of healthcare, medical office, or operational leadership experience preferred.
* Previous supervisory or team lead experience required.
* Multi-location experience preferred but not required.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to coach and develop employees.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and locations.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable working with physicians, employees, and leadership.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
* Experience with medical practice management systems and electronic health records preferred.
* Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel regularly between Central Ohio locations.

A successful Regional Lead is visible and accessible to the offices, builds strong relationships with Office Leads and physicians, identifies concerns before they become larger problems, follows through on commitments, and helps create consistency and accountability throughout the region.
This individual should be comfortable being hands-on when needed while also allowing Office Leads to manage the daily operations of their locations.
