Position Summary
Safe Harbor Peer Support Services is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Office/Fiscal Assistant to support both administrative and financial functions within our Delaware-based operations. This vital position plays a key role in ensuring the efficiency of daily office activities while maintaining financial accuracy and supporting organizational accountability. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multiple departments to streamline workflows, manage records, and support core fiscal responsibilities.

Safe Harbor Peer Support Services is currently seeking an Office/Fiscal Assistant to join our Delaware-based team. In this hybrid administrative and financial support role, you’ll be a key contributor to the day-to-day operations of our office while assisting with vital fiscal processes that keep our nonprofit running smoothly.
· 🌐 Manage office communications, calendars, and appointment scheduling
· 🗂️ Organize and maintain digital and physical files and financial records
· 🧾 Code invoices, process payments, and support budget tracking
· 📋 Assist with payroll, audits, and internal reporting
· ✉️ Prepare correspondence, meeting agendas, and reports
· 🛠️ Coordinate office supply inventory and vendor services
· ✅ Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
· ✅ Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· ✅ Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO)
· ✅ Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently
· ✅ Solid communication and interpersonal skills
· ✅ Basic understanding of accounting and financial processes
· 🎓 Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
· 🧾 Experience working in a nonprofit environment
· 📊 Familiarity with grant reporting or donor management systems
