The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

• Supplying oxygen and other compressed gas cylinders throughout the Medical Center.
• Processing, cleaning, and preparing respiratory equipment for safe utilization.
• Performing scheduled equipment calibrations, electrical safety tests (ESTs), and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshooting ventilators and other respiratory equipment and performing minor repairs when needed.
• Replenishing respiratory supplies in designated areas and documenting equipment or supply concerns.
• Responding promptly to oxygen refill requests for code carts.
• Stocking shelves, closets, and satellite storage areas to ensure respiratory supplies are readily available.
• Processing contaminated equipment for future use in accordance with safety and infection-control procedures.
• Providing prompt, courteous, and compassionate service to patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.
• Maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient rights at all times.
• Taking responsibility for section operations in the absence of the manager.

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• You have some knowledge of the medical environment and enjoy working with the public.
• You are comfortable working with medical equipment and following safety procedures.
• You are dependable, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot equipment effectively.
• You can respond positively to new or challenging tasks.
• You communicate problems and potential solutions in a professional and constructive manner.
• You take pride in providing a compassionate, supportive, and service-focused environment.
• You demonstrate professionalism when working with patients, families, visitors, physicians, coworkers, and supervisors.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some knowledge of the medical field and experience working with the public preferred.
• Successful completion of all required orientation programs.
• Ability to follow departmental, institutional, and safety policies.
• Ability to perform the physical and technical responsibilities associated with processing, maintaining, stocking, and troubleshooting respiratory equipment.
