Primary Responsibilities:
Interfacing with referring medical clinics, physicians, insurance adjusters and patients.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, supports our physicians in the delivery of care to patients.
Registering and scheduling of all new referrals
Obtaining authorizations for treatment.
Obtaining medical records.
Verifies patient information, history taking, confirmation of current condition.
Arranging patient transportation/interpreters if necessary
Updates and verifies patient information in our EMR system
Providing support to coworkers.
To be cross-trained and back up to co-workers
Required Qualifications:
High School Graduate
Strong writing skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Team player
Personable
Consistently positive attitude
