The position combines hands-on HR execution with proactive coaching, employee relations, and organizational support.
You’ll use workforce data and employee insights to identify trends, anticipate challenges, and recommend action.
The role offers meaningful autonomy within a collaborative, matrixed, remote-first environment.
You’ll also contribute to talent, performance, compensation, organizational change, and broader People initiatives.
Success requires sound judgment, strong business partnership, discretion, and confidence navigating ambiguity.

Accountabilities
  • Provide independent, day-to-day HR partnership to assigned managers and employees, offering practical guidance and solutions while escalating complex or high-impact matters appropriately.
  • Build a strong understanding of business priorities, workforce needs, organizational context, and culture to anticipate people-related issues and identify opportunities.
  • Coach managers on performance, feedback, goal setting, corrective action, performance improvement plans, talent development, succession planning, and effective employee communication.
  • Manage routine to moderately complex employee relations matters from intake through resolution, including investigations, objective documentation, risk assessment, and resolution recommendations.
  • Analyze employee relations trends, exit feedback, engagement signals, workforce data, and other people metrics to develop actionable recommendations for HR leadership.
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle activities including promotions, transfers, reorganizations, leaves, accommodations, job changes, and terminations.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by assessing people impacts, identifying risks, and helping leaders execute clear communication and transition plans.
  • Contribute to organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, organizational design, and other initiatives that help teams operate effectively.
  • Support recurring People programs such as performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, promotions, and manager enablement.
  • Partner with Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Finance, People Analytics, and other teams on staffing, headcount, compensation, and workforce-related decisions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of People programs, policies, processes, manager resources, and inclusive workplace practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or in a comparable role.
  • Demonstrated experience independently advising managers on employee relations, performance management, employee lifecycle processes, and investigations.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance principles, including applying policies across multiple states.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect organizational objectives, workforce needs, and business performance to effective people decisions.
  • Excellent judgment, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Confidence and willingness to challenge senior leaders constructively and maintain a firm position on important people and organizational matters.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and coaching skills, with the ability to establish trust across all levels of an organization.
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential employee and business information.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and standard business tools; experience with Workday, Culture Amp, or Ashby is preferred.
  • Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, Product, revenue-generating, or product-focused teams is a plus.
  • Experience in a remote-first or geographically distributed organization is preferred.
  • HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent, and/or a master’s degree in a related discipline is advantageous.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary of $115,000–$125,000, plus eligibility for a bonus.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Mental health support and wellness resources.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Basic life insurance.
  • Paid time off and paid parental leave.
  • Access to professional development and learning programs.
  • Remote-first work environment within the United States.
  • Opportunity to partner closely with leaders and contribute to meaningful organizational and People initiatives.
  • Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
