Position Objective: To install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The electrician ensures all work complies with applicable codes and standards while supporting operational reliability and minimizing downtime.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and troubleshoot system failures
• Repair or replace faulty components such as circuit breakers, wiring, and panels
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes
• Collaborate with other trades and team members on projects
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and maintenance schedules
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• High school diploma
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
• Possess journeyman electrician license
• Ability to read wiring diagrams

Job Requirements

• May require a drug test (after a conditional offer of employment)
• Speak fluent English to communicate with other employees
• The electrician role requires physical stamina to stand, bend, and move for extended periods throughout the day. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work at heights, climb ladders, and operate in confined spaces is essential. Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to work safely in various environmental conditions are also necessary.
