Maintenance Mechanic in Washington, Indiana at Daviess Community Hospital

Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Assists in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the facility in good repair. Preventative maintenance, repairs and compliance inspections are the primary duties. Assists the Facilities Management Department with Electrical and HVAC maintenance. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Three to six (3-6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Additional languages preferred.
