Mamahuhu's founding team includes Brandon Jew of Mister Jiu's in San Francisco's Chinatown and Anmao Sun and Ben Moore of Hunter Gatherer, a farm-to-table restaurant group in Shanghai, China. With experience spanning fine dining to fast casual, China to California, our team is united by a shared love for Chinese-American food and a commitment to sustainability, quality sourcing, and community.

Mamahuhu is growing its front of house team. We have a casual, 40-seat dining room with bench, counter and booth seating. The dining room is designed for counter-service style ordering where guests line up, order at the counter, receive a number and we bring the food out to them when it's ready. The front of house is designed to be simple and lean and works great when we have a tight, organized group who can work efficiently and as a team.

We are looking for a friendly and positive FOH Team Member to join our AM crew. This role is ideal for someone who loves an early start and being done by mid-afternoon — shifts typically run 11am–4pm. You'll run food, bus the dining room, hold down our point of sale (POS) counter during service, and open the Front of House for the lunch rush. The position is dynamic and will have you working in the dining room, at the POS counter taking orders, answering the phone and occasionally supporting our expediter in the kitchen. Our restaurants are a fun, flexible, and teamwork-oriented environment!

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Ideally has at least 1 year of experience in a hospitality role
• Is available for AM shifts, typically 11am–4pm, any day of the week
• Has a strong work ethic, and thrives on being part of a close knit team
• Has a sense of urgency, and challenges themselves to accomplish more each day
• Can pay close attention to detail
• Appreciates food as a way to bring people together
• Experience with or interest in Chinese cuisine is a plus!
• Has a strong sense of hospitality and service
