Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, charismatic, and growth-oriented Social Skills Group Leader & Therapist. This specialized role is designed for a clinician who thrives in group dynamics and has a passion for experiential teaching.
Because our target demographic is in school or working during the day, regular evening availability is a requirement for this position. The ideal candidate is not just a great facilitator, but a proactive builder who wants to actively scale and expand group enrollment, helping us bring these critical programs to more families in our community.
Key Responsibilities
• Group Leadership & Instruction: Design, launch, and facilitate engaging, high-energy social skills groups for children, teens, and young adults (ages 7 to 28).
• Evening Programming: Lead multiple group sessions during peak after-school and evening hours, ensuring a vibrant and structured environment.
• Enrollment & Program Growth: Actively work to scale current groups and launch new cohorts. Collaborate with practice leadership to identify community needs, follow up with inquiries, and drive enrollment growth.
• Individual & Family Therapy: Maintain a clinical caseload of individual and family therapy clients, seamlessly integrating group goals with one-on-one therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications & Experience
• Licensure: Active Ohio clinical license required (e.g., LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, IMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).
• Schedule Flexibility: Must be available to work weekday evenings, as this is when our primary social skills groups take place.
• The "Growth" Mindset: A strong desire to actively promote, expand, and grow group enrollment. We want a builder who is excited about scaling their impact.
• Clinical Skills:
o Proven experience or an exceptional natural talent for managing group dynamics, especially with neurodiverse youth (ADHD, ASD, ODD).
o Ability to teach abstract social concepts (conflict resolution, emotional regulation, conversational cues) through practical, interactive, and fun activities.
