We’re looking for an experienced Parts & Inventory Expediter to support manufacturing operations by coordinating the efficient movement of materials, components, and inventory throughout the production facility. This role is responsible for ensuring parts are moved and delivered to the specific department at the right time to support production schedules and customer commitments. The ideal candidate will prioritize material requests, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate with multiple departments to meet production deadlines and operational goals.

Location: We are conveniently located in Oakland, FL, 23 minutes from Orlando.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.
  • Kitting parts and materials for assembly. Consolidating all individual material as specified by the work order.
  • Review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules; consulting with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates.
  • Safely operate forklifts and heavy equipment.
  • Load and unload raw materials from trucks and deliver those supplies and parts to work centers by using a forklift to expedite the flow of materials to meet production schedule.
  • Able to read blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Accurately track jobs and parts data within the SAP system.
  • Complete time and data entry into company data acquisition system in accordance with company policy.
  • Use hand tools, shrink wrap, crating and palletizing equipment to package parts for shipment.
  • Assist shipping/receiving with packaging of products for shipment, as required.
  • Follow work order directions and safely produce required quantity of parts efficiently and within the required tolerance and cosmetic quality.
  • Report any unsafe condition and /or malfunctioning items in need of repair.
  • Prioritize and complete assignments efficiently with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Comply with all applicable ISO and OSHA standards.
  • Follow all company rules, policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Maintain working areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Complete work priorities as assigned by supervisors.
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50-60 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to adapt and perform work in open and/or outdoor areas with changing weather conditions.
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Great verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Work well with others and work as a team.
  • Display and maintain enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work.
  • Time-management and multitasking abilities.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Must cooperate with other employees in the department to maintain a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift operator certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, such as SAP.
  • 3+ years of experience working for Manufacturing Warehouse or related field.
