About Us:

721 Logistics is a family owned customs brokerage located in the heart of Old City, Philadelphia. Specializing in the US Customs clearance of dry and perishable goods. We work closely with importers and CBP to facilitate compliant and timely clearance of international goods into the US commerce.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Traffic Specialist to join us on a full-time basis in Greater Philadelphia. The primary responsibilities include engaging with terminal operators, ocean carriers, trucking companies, and government agencies to ensure seamless flow of goods. Perfect for those seeking a stable position where they can focus and contribute effectively.

Full-time, in-person, 35 work week, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (some flexibility allowed)

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • CBP Documentation Interpretation: Review CBP documentation for perishable shipments, interpreting data for accurate entry processing.
  • Data Entry & Transmission: Enter relevant data and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
  • Entry Monitoring: Monitor the status of import containers and provide timely updates to clients and trucking companies.
  • Auditing: Regularly audit files for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all data is correctly entered and all submissions meet specified timelines.
  • Collaborative Compliance: Work closely with other teams within the office to ensure all parts flow effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail, especially in data entry and document review.
  • Familiarity with, ACE, and customs management systems is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, organize, and audit multiple entries simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to commute to Old City Philadelphia on a regular, weekly, basis
  • Previous experience in customs brokerage or a related field preferred but not a requirement.
