Accountabilities
  • Support investment operations by executing product and service processes accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established financial, regulatory, risk, and operational controls.
  • Provide guidance and operational support to assigned business or functional groups, helping implement solutions and strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Respond to routine and complex stakeholder inquiries, providing accurate, consistent, and well-informed information while escalating non-routine issues when appropriate.
  • Monitor performance, track issues, analyze operational data, and develop insights and recommendations to support effective decision-making.
  • Collect, organize, and validate data to produce recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analyses.
  • Verify and reconcile information and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established processes and service-level agreements.
  • Identify problems, investigate root causes, and coordinate timely resolution while applying sound judgment and appropriate escalation practices.
  • Support change management activities, including planning, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new or enhanced processes, systems, products, and services.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, recommending practical solutions, and helping implement more efficient and effective procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships, align expectations, and achieve business and service objectives.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of applicable regulatory requirements, operational risks, policies, and controls, taking appropriate action to protect operational integrity.
  • Support the development of tools, training materials, and other resources designed to improve team performance and service outcomes.
  • Work independently on assigned responsibilities while acting as a resource for less-experienced colleagues and taking on broader duties as required.
  • Apply a risk-aware approach to decisions, balancing business objectives with the need to protect assets, comply with policies and regulations, and maintain sound operational practices.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, generally combined with post-secondary education in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant systems, technology, tools, business processes, products, services, and operational controls.
  • Solid understanding of industry risks and regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply this knowledge appropriately in day-to-day operations.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong customer-service skills and the ability to respond effectively to both routine and complex stakeholder needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and adapt communication to different audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to interpret data, identify issues, determine root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet service-level expectations.
  • Strong influencing skills and the confidence to provide recommendations, challenge existing approaches, and help stakeholders reach effective solutions.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, think creatively, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
