This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Account Executive- Auto Retail based in the United States.
This remote sales role focuses on expanding adoption of modern automotive finance technology across dealerships throughout the U.S. You will introduce an AI-powered lending solution to dealership leaders and demonstrate how smarter credit decisioning can improve approvals, accelerate funding, and strengthen profitability. The role combines consultative selling, executive relationship management, product demonstrations, and strategic territory development. You will own the customer journey from initial prospecting through signed partnership and successful handoff to launch teams. Working closely with implementation, dealer launch, and customer success partners, you will help create a seamless experience from sale through activation. This is a fast-paced, performance-driven opportunity where disciplined execution and strong commercial relationships directly contribute to growth.
- Engage dealerships across an assigned territory to introduce automotive finance solutions and demonstrate how AI-powered credit decisioning can improve approval outcomes, funding speed, and overall dealer performance.
- Build and manage trusted relationships with Dealer Principals, General Managers, General Sales Managers, and F&I Directors, aligning the solution's value with front-end and back-end profitability objectives.
- Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through product demonstrations, qualification, negotiation, signed agreement, and handoff to downstream teams.
- Lead discovery conversations that uncover dealership challenges such as funding delays, approval gaps, operational friction, and margin compression, translating those needs into clear and measurable value propositions.
- Maintain a disciplined, consultative sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly growth and adoption targets.
- Collaborate closely with Implementation, Dealer Launch, Dealer Success, and other internal partners to ensure a smooth transition from signed customer to active and funded dealership.
- Identify opportunities to expand adoption within existing dealer groups, helping extend the solution across multiple rooftops, brands, and locations.
- Coordinate effectively with extended internal teams, including dealer success, support, and regional sales partners, to maintain a consistent customer experience.
- Use data, customer insights, and sales performance information to refine territory strategies and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
- Bring at least 5 years of full-cycle sales experience with a leading automotive dealership technology provider, lender, B2B SaaS company, or closely related organization.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to meet and exceed aggressive sales, rooftop, adoption, or growth targets in a competitive environment.
- Possess strong knowledge of dealership operations, particularly F&I processes, credit decisioning, lending, and funding workflows.
- Have experience selling both remotely and in person to executive-level dealership stakeholders, including Dealer Principals, GMs, GSMs, and F&I Directors.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication, discovery, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills, with the ability to simplify complex products and technologies for diverse audiences.
- Bring a strong understanding of how technology, AI, or data-driven solutions can improve business performance, preferably within automotive, financial services, or fintech environments.
- Demonstrate experience working cross-functionally with Dealer Success, Implementation, Product, and other teams to support customer satisfaction and post-sale performance.
- Be comfortable coordinating with extended teams, including regional sales and dealer management/support functions, to deliver a consistent customer experience.
- Have strong discovery instincts and the ability to identify quantifiable customer pain points, connect them to business outcomes, and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Demonstrate a self-directed, disciplined, and results-oriented approach suited to a fast-paced, digital-first environment.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work remotely from an eligible U.S. location.
- Annual On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $187,400–$259,600 USD, with the sales compensation structure combining salary and commission at 100% target achievement.
