SUMMARY

The nurse aid works under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff to provide direct patient care in accordance with established hospital policies, procedures and protocols.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs and documents direct comprehensive, family and patient centered care under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff.

• Provides world class customer service to patients and families.

• Reports patient conditions directly to licensed nursing staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.

• Maintains a safe and clean patient and family centered environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BLS within 3 months of hire

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Evidence of successful completion of a nurse aid training course at hire and previous experience as a Nurse Aid

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. PAY RANGE: $18.27 - $25.91
