Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable, organized Shipping Clerk to join our Shipping/Receiving Department. This position plays a key role in managing daily inventory tasks, scheduling freight, maintaining accurate records, and supporting logistics operations. Responsibilities- Manage daily inventory using the VIP system, including issuing counts and tracking variances
- Schedule freight deliveries and coordinate with outside carriers
- Track pallet/shell and propane inventory
- Support month-end and year-end inventory processes
- Handle incoming calls and assist walk-up customers
- Input weekly pull logs and assist with payroll coordination for drivers
- Work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely invoice processing
- Track and organize delivery paperwork for key customers
- Order and track office supplies and shipping materials
- Keep the office clean, organized, and efficient
- Perform additional duties as needed
- Previous experience in shipping, inventory, or office coordination preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using inventory management systems; VIP system experience is a plus
- Dependable, proactive, and team-oriented
You’ll work closely with the Operations Office Manager and collaborate daily with the Shipping Manager, Production Planner, and other departments. This role requires regular interaction with truck drivers, customers, and internal staff across the organization.
