This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Director based in the United States.

This role will lead new business growth across health systems and community oncology organizations throughout the U.S.
You will own the sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
The position combines strategic selling, healthcare market expertise, relationship building, and data-driven pipeline management.
You will engage directly with C-suite executives and oncology leaders, helping them evaluate innovative approaches to care delivery.
Working closely with marketing and growth leadership, you will identify high-value prospects, develop opportunities, and accelerate pipeline velocity.
The role offers significant autonomy in a remote environment while requiring regular collaboration with internal teams and customers.
With substantial customer-facing responsibility and up to 50% travel, this is an opportunity to directly contribute to U.S. revenue growth and market expansion.

Accountabilities
  • Execute U.S. new business sales plans and contribute directly to revenue and growth objectives.

  • Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, relationship development, discovery, opportunity scoping, proposal delivery, negotiation, and closing.

  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline across health systems, hospitals, community oncology organizations, and private practices.

  • Generate consistent top-of-funnel activity through targeted outreach, relationship development, meetings, and strategic prospect engagement.

  • Partner with marketing to identify high-priority prospects, nurture relationships, and develop effective engagement strategies.

  • Communicate with prospects to understand their challenges, identify barriers, and develop solutions aligned with their operational and clinical needs.

  • Present the value of innovative healthcare solutions to senior executives, oncology practice leaders, and other key stakeholders.

  • Use strategic selling approaches, communication frameworks, and available sales tools to advance opportunities through the funnel.

  • Monitor competitive offerings, market trends, and relevant sales and marketing intelligence to inform commercial strategies.

  • Use CRM and sales data to manage opportunities, assess pipeline health, forecast accurately, and support deal progression.

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with prospects and clients through strong communication, empathy, listening, and follow-through.

  • Report internally on customer objections, market barriers, competitive dynamics, and opportunities, while recommending practical paths forward.

  • Track key performance indicators including sales activity, opportunity creation, pipeline velocity, proposal activity, and revenue attainment.

  • Travel across the United States, including onsite customer meetings, as required by business and project needs.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of proven sales or sales executive experience with responsibility for generating revenue and closing business.

  • Demonstrated experience selling directly to healthcare organizations, including health systems, hospitals, oncology practices, private practices, or comparable provider organizations.

  • Ability to communicate, present, negotiate, and influence effectively with C-suite executives, senior health system leaders, and oncology practice leadership.

  • Proven ability to independently generate top-of-funnel activity through prospecting, discovery, relationship development, and opportunity scoping.

  • Experience managing opportunities and pipeline metrics through HubSpot or another CRM platform, with a strong ability to use data to guide deal strategy and forecasting.

  • Strong customer empathy and the ability to establish trusted relationships with diverse healthcare stakeholders.

  • Excellent listening, communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.

  • Ability to clearly communicate the value of innovative healthcare solutions and motivate organizations to consider new approaches to care delivery.

  • Strong analytical and metrics-driven mindset, with the ability to use market and sales data to identify opportunities and adjust strategies.

  • Organized and structured approach to planning, with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, actionable sales strategies.

  • Ability to monitor market and competitive developments and incorporate relevant insights into commercial planning.

  • Oncology industry knowledge or direct experience working with oncology organizations is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% across the U.S., depending on customer and project requirements.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Benefits
  • Remote position based in the United States.

  • Competitive base salary with a 50/50 base salary and commission total compensation structure.

  • Performance-oriented compensation aligned with revenue and sales objectives.

  • Opportunity to work directly with healthcare executives and oncology leaders.

  • High-impact role contributing to growth across health systems and community oncology markets.

  • Close collaboration with marketing and growth leadership.

  • Opportunity to help bring innovative healthcare solutions to provider organizations.

  • Approximately 50% U.S. travel, varying according to customer and project requirements.
