Manufacturing Technician 1 at PERSONALIZED NUTRIENTS LLC – Sisters, Oregon

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

• The position exists to assist production in various aspects of the manufacturing process.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bottling completed product.
• Labeling bottles prior to shipping.
• Perform Tapped Density Analyses on blended formulas.
• Filing of Production/Q.A. documents.
• Clean room; wash down all equipment after each run.
• GMP
• Comply with all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Follow all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Work in other departments if required.

JOB COMPLEXITY:

• Inability to meet bottling/labeling schedules could lead to delays in shipping which could result in loss of customer base and company revenue; potential health hazard to customers if capsules/powders are not handled according to “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMPs).

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY:

• Reports directly to Production Manager.

PERSONAL CONTACTS:

• One-on-one and in groups with all company employees. Ability to work in a team oriented environment as well as independently.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

• Walking, talking, vision, standing, hearing, must be able to read, write and understand English language and communicate verbally. Manual dexterity, eye/hand coordination at rapid speed. Attention to detail is imperative.

EDUCATION/JOB EXPERIENCE:

• On-the-job training provided due to the variety of equipment and procedures involved. Manufacturing experience desired.

JOB CONDITIONS:

• High noise level.
• High exposure to product dust.
• Standing approximately 10 hours per work day with the exception of scheduled breaks and meal periods.
• Exposure to potentially hazardous semi-automatic machinery.
• Daily production and shipping deadline schedules.
