Dish Washer at The Hollywood Tavern – Woodinville, Washington

The Dishwasher position is primarily responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dirty items in an efficient manner while maintaining a sanitary work environment. The position is also responsible for restocking cleaned items to appropriate stations and disposing of waste/recycle/compost according to the standards of the company.

The Dishwasher has responsibility for the following:

1. Demonstrating a customer-first attitude and living The Hollywood Tavern’s culture, mission and values.
2. Cleaning all flatware and kitchen utensils properly and efficiently.
3. Restocking cleaned items to the appropriate station.
4. Understanding and demonstrating The Hollywood Tavern’s commitment to an eco-friendly waste/compost/recycle program.
5. Taking out garbage, recycle and compost as needed.
6. Assisting prep cooks with prep as needed.
7. Maintaining a clean work environment.
8. Keeping sanitation buckets in the kitchen and dish area fresh and stocked with a towel.
9. Assisting with all housekeeping tasks, including stocking inventory, dusting, periodic deep cleaning, emptying trash and other tasks as assigned.

The Dishwasher must demonstrate the ability to:

4. Effectively work with guests.
5. Take direction from others as well as work independently.
6. Maintain current food handler’s permit and demonstrate knowledge of health regulations.
7. Must be 16 years of age or older.
8. Good attendance.
9. Available to work shifts at varying hours as need arises.
10. May require being on your feet for long periods of time.

Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and repetitive hand and wrist motion. At times, includes working outdoors in various temperatures. This position includes work with sharp and hazardous equipment as well as work with phones, computers and other electronic equipment.
