Unit Clerk/ ER Tech/ LNA

Statement of Purpose:

The Unit Clerk/LNA/Tech works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse while providing care to patients in varying states of health and illness during their time in the Emergency Department. The Unit Clerk/LNA/Tech functions as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team and should be fully versed in all areas of the Emergency Department operations. The Unit Clerk/LNA/Tech must have the ability to manage multiple responsibilities as well as exhibit willingness and the ability to communicate department standards and expectations.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• LNA, EMT or AEMT
• BLS certification
• Computer knowledge and skills including word and other applications as needed.
